The Great Morgani (above) is but one of the many wonders of Santa Cruz (as are major people). The first Friday of each month is an especially good evening to visit downtown.
Tom, site design: should there be one of those faceebook buttons here so I could readily share this? i have a one major Santa Cruz people.
The Great Morgani is an exceptional musician and performer. A former stock trader, he retired some time ago to do what he loves most: play the accordion. He owns many, as well as scores of elaborate costumes he creates himself, which include horrifying platform shoes. He is kind to children and dogs, unlike W C Fields.

I’ve imagined this dude is playing accordion version of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor while you’re reading your “Thank you, universe”))) Kind of soundtrack))
Is that a real accordian? I’m not seeing any buttons or keys.
“Is that a real accordian?”
Yes.
“I’m not seeing any buttons or keys.”
The buttons and keys are underneath a thin fabric that is stretched across the buttons and keys yet incredibly still allows him to play.
